Which hotel is the shortest walk to International Gateway? Beach/Yacht/Boardwalk/Swan/Dolphin? Thanks so much!

Beach Club is the shortest walk, but if you're talking about getting dropped off from another property, be aware that Beach Club may not allow the vehicle to enter the premises. Best advice (as I learned here) is to get dropped off at Swan or Dolphin where there's no guard shack at the entrance.

The plan is to get dropped off by Mears Connect after I fly in. Mears said you don’t have to prove if you’re staying there.

I'd just take an Uber/Lyft to the main gate for a few extra bucks. The last Mears bus I took did like five resorts before mine (WL), and there was a huge delay loading the thing.

If I was sharing the rideshare with someone I would totally do that but Mears Connect is about 1/3 the price so cost comes into play. It’s roughly $16 vs $50

They are all comparable. BC/YC/BWK are slightly closer, but we're talking a small difference.

If it happens that your requested stop is not the first stop (but 1st stop is still BC/YC/Bwk/S/D), then your fastest option is likely just get off at 1st stop. Only one that is slight further is Swan Reserve, but even that is only slightly further. By the time the shuttle pulls around to making the second stop, you could be a good part of the way to the park.

That’s a great point! I can just get off at whichever of the 3 gets dropped off first!

By "shortest" do you mean shortest distance/smallest number of steps to be walked? Or quickest?

If the former, the smallest number of steps may be Pop or Art of Animation, stepping onto the Skyliner, and then getting off the Skyliner right at the International Gateway.

If the latter, I agree with what others have posted.

If you’re taking Skyliner then wouldn’t Riviera be easier? Seems like it would be a bit of a walk from the bus drop of at POP or Animation to the Skyliner station.

I don't think so, but maybe. We've stayed at Riviera, Pop, and AoA.

What I recollect of Riviera is that it's a convoluted path from bus to Skyliner, involving stairs/elevator, and then a series of turns indoors and one outside. But maybe you're right. I push my DW in a wheelchair, and I remember long carpeted hallways (harder to push) at Riviera.

Pop / AoA doors to Skyliner station is a lot of steps. Through lobby. Past pool area. Onto central bridge. Then you have to switch lines at CBR. Unlikely to be fewer steps than BC or Riv.

I’m not taking the skyliner. Just trying to get dropped off by Mears the closest to Epcot as possible.

I agree with mickeyluv'r; walking tothe International Gateway from any of these resorts, without luggage, is easily doable. So I would exit the bus at whichever resort the Mears bus stops first.

And...this is one example in which the new Mears airport transportation system is beneficial. Previously, one had to prove that one had a reservation at the specific drop-off resort (because Disney was paying the fare).
