Walking path between SSR to DTD question

I read that the main pathway between SSR and DTD is currently closed to make way for Disney Springs construction. Is this correct? I also read that there is another lesser known pathway that IS still open? I've never heard of a second pathway. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

The "normal" pathway is the East side pathway that goes to the marketplace from Congress Park.

The other pathway is the west side pathway that takes the golf course bridge and walks first to the Cirque parking lot. You can see that bridge from the boat launch / Turf Club / Golf course area. The west path is closest to the Grandstand section.

The East path was supposed to close the week I left, and the path still looked open on that Monday, but that was a few weeks back.

There is a bridge over by the Turf Club. Use Google maps for a birds eye view.
