Hiya
I have been to the train station, but it was yonks ago, and we were staying at the Disneyland Hotel, and from what I can recall we walked from the station to the hotel. Is walking to the new York hotel from the station walkable? Bearing in mind we will have a suitcase (on wheels) and a buggy and 2 kids?
Thanks for you help guys

Hi Joanne, I'm a Joanne too!!!
Yup I think that walking from the station to HNY would be okay even with buggy, suitcase and kids if there is more than one adult. Might be too stressful if it's just you and the kids! It may even be quicker to nip through Disney Village and walk than wait for the bus.
Have a great trip and enjoy all the attractions which have been added since your last visit.:thumbsup2

Yes I would say it would be much easier to walk through the Disney Village, it eally is only a 5 min walk. We stayed at the New York in November, it's very close. Hope you have a good time :) .

i would definetly agree. walk through disney village. we had to walk back from the park to the shianne once, as we missed the last bus back. lol

The HNY is literally just the other end of the Village so it is definately walkable, it will probably quicker then waiting for the shuttle bus too.

We did it with 5 adults and 6 kids, two of whom were in buggies.

would you have to go through any security checkpoints to do this?

Is the walkway through Disney Village fairly manageable with suitcases in tow?

Bag check is before the entrance to the park so no security from train station to HNY.

Unfortunately Disneyland Hotel guests are not spared this though. The only disadvantage of having a hotel that is right beside the park

I guess it depends on the time of day? (Haven't been for a few years so not sure on crowd sizes) so for when the parks open there may be people going the other way, and when they close many head to Disney Village (I know we will be!)
Hope you have a great time!
