Walking from Resort to Resort

Is it a nice walk from Dolphin to MGM or Epcot? Can you walk from Grand Floridian (GF) to Polynesian? Is that also a nice walk?

I remember seeing a walkway while riding one of the monorails but can't remember where it is-somewhere near GF.

I know that the walk from the Dolphin to Epcot isn't too bad. As I recall, you go along the Boardwalk. The walk is nice and you get to see the sights on the BW.

I don't think you can walk from the Poly to the GF or if you can it would be a really LONG walk. You can take boats from different resorts across the lake which is really fun at night (romantic, too)! I know that you can get a boat from the Contemporary to the GF but not sure where the boats go from the Poly.

Can anyone assist?

The walk from the Poly to the GF is relativly short and can be pleasant depending on the weather. I'd say that it is no more than a quarter of a mile and takes you past the GF wedding chapel.

We just stayed at the Dolphin, and, as Penny said, you can go via the Boardwalk. You also can go past Beach Club and Yacht Club to Epcot. It is a very nice walk, and I like entering Epcot through the International Gateway into the World Showcase, even when it's not open yet. The walk from the Dolphin to MGM is a little bit longer, but still nice. We always took the boat there. The boat dock is between the Dolphin and Swan. You will go by or through the Swan when you walk from the Dolphin to the Boardwalk.

The walk between the GF and Poly takes 10-15 minutes if you walk slow. It is a paved path and has lights for a great evening walk. You walk along Seven Seas Lagoon and pass the wedding chapel. At night the walk is very pretty. Torches at the Poly, lights from MK over the Lagoon and the lights from the GF is great.

I have done both walks many times.. and on a beautiful day, it can be quite pleasant... the one to MGM goes under a bridge and is not as much fun for me as the one from the Poly to the GF.. that is just a beautiful scenic walk with the sounds of MK in the background.. Enjoy!!!
