walking from polynesian to car care center anyone ever really done it?

I know everyone keeps telling me you can walk from the poly to the car care center (alamo/national car rental) we only need the car for 1 day to go to Seaworld. But viewing the walk on a satellite photo and checking the directions. It seems like it is not really meant to be walked.

Lots of parking lots, highways, lakes and a racetrack.

So has anyone actually ever really done it, because it is not really in the TTC like everyone says

Any advice would be appreciated

Do not try to walk this route. There are no sidewalks and the route us very busy. Disney security will stop you if they see you and they drive that circle frequently. It is not designed at all for walking and is not safe.

You can call Alamo/National at the CCC and arrange for a shuttle to pick you up at a resort hotel or a park. We've done it several times.
