Walking from Paradise Pier Hotel?

We have a trip coming up this summer and we are trying to save a little money by staying at the PP instead of the DLH. Can anyone tell me how the walk to the park compares? The last time I stayed at the PP it was a very long time ago and I don't have a good recollection of the distance (and my legs were younger!). I've checked maps, but I can't seem to find one that shows the actual walking route. Would love any help

It is actually a bit closer than the Disneyland Hotel. Easiest route is to walk across the street and use the front entrance to the Grand Californian. From there you have the option to go into Downtown Disney and through the Esplanade or use the GCH entrance directly into California Adventure.

You can also exit the PPH, walk down the street and enter Downtown Disney

There is actually two ways to walk it. One is to walk to the grand as they said. To us unless we were going to use the enterence into dca we did not find it any faster. The second way is to walk to the light but instead of crossing walk straight, into the parking lot and thru the parking lot. When you come to the grass, ( it is not all that big a parking lot, you will see a path. Follow that path and you will come out, I think the movie theatre is on your left and the Lego store is on your right. The monorail is very close, or you can walk thru dtd to the security. We found this path just as fast as walking from dlh.
