walking from DL hotel to the parks...

How long does it take to walk to the Parks from the Disneyland hotel??? obviously it depends on how fast you walk etc..but an estimate if you walk at a decent pace... and how long to get to DTD????

10 mins? Depends on the people flow thru DTD. You basically walk out the gates, into the esplanade into DTD & it's on the far end. You also can use the monorail from Tomorrowland & that will drop you off close to that end of DTD.

15 miinutes at a normal pace as it is not a straight walk. Get a map at google and measure it, it is the equivalent of walking from Main Street at the Plaza In to the other side of Splash Mountain then past Splash Mountain and across the street then past another block of shops and you then cross a driveway then you are at the hotels. There are planters which mean sometimes you have to dodge strollers and wheelchairs, stop for gawkers and then walk over the bridge.

I suggest planning to do Monorail as it drops you about a block from Disneyland Hotel.

It took us about 12 min. to walk to the DLH for our GK breakfast. Taking the monorail into the parks isn't that long a wait but taking the monorail back to DTD can be quite a long wait.

I also wanted to add that DTD is basically right outside the hotel, you leave the Hotel grounds, cross a small street and there you are in DTD.

Yep, about 10 minutes....that is it's 10 minutes if you can avoid stopping for a Wetzel's Pretzel or don't get distracted by the awesome displays at WOD...not that that's ever happened to me
