Walking from BCV to MGM

We have never stayed at BCV and are looking forward to the close proximity to MGM/DS and Epcot. We know how to get to Epcot walking however -wanted to check with others who have made the trip approximately how long it takes to walk there and how you get to MGM/DS from BCV......any way shorter than the next???? Would greatly appreciate the info!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just head toward the Swan/Dolphin side of the Boardwalk. The path goes along the Boardwalk side of the canal - past the BW pool, tennis courts, etc. You cross under the road, and emerge into the MGM/DS parking lot. The entire walk is about 20 minutes. After Fantasmic, it's actually faster than taking the boat. In fact, if there is no boat in sight as you're leaving MGM - head to the walking path instead.
