We will be staying at Animal Kingdom Lodge in a few weeks. I had planned for us to walk to Sanaa for dinner. Wondering if there is a lighted pathway to walk or if I need to carry a small flashlight. Thank you for any information or suggestions.

Easy walk. For us it was under 5 minutes from Jambo House to Kidani. A really nicely lit and easy walk. If you wish, there is also a shuttle that goes every 10 minutes or so.

Is the free shuttle accessible for ECVs? If the weather's nice, I have no problem "scooting" on over. But if it's raining, my scooter and I would both prefer a ride.

It's been a long time since I stayed at AKL, but I seem to vaguely recall something about the buses (the regular buses, not the little shuttle).

The buses all stopped at both Jambo House and Kidani Village. But the theme park buses stopped at one first, and the Disney Springs buses stopped at the other one first. So people who wanted to travel between Jambo and Kidani could use the regular bus, they just needed to know if it was going to the other building or if it had already been there.

If that's still the case, then I assume this might work if you have an ECV and want to ride between the two buildings.

Unrelated - when we rode in the little shuttle one time, the previous passengers must have been staying in one building and used the pool at the other building, because the seats were set. (At least I assume that's why the seats were wet.)

We did the opposite (stayed at Kidan) and brought our child in a stroller every morning to The Mara for breakfast. Not a long walk but will take valuable time out of your day. Of course, he was only 1 years old so our daily itinerary was light!
