As a guy who has been to the parks more times than I can count -> but not in a few years...
As soon as I booked this trip, I started going for a 30 minute walk every day and have now up'ped that to 60 minutes a day.. brisk tempo non-stop walking. Before I actually arrive in Florida, I'll be at 90 minutes of non stop brisk walking.
I learned the hard way over the years that if you try to do the parks 'cold' without any preparation.. and you're like most of us, maybe a little out of practice when it comes to exercise, you will hit a nasty wall on day 2 or 3. And that really is no fun.
After the past winter, I was kinda sedentary so I figured if I'm going to do the parks, time to get 'ready'. I did this the last three times I hit the parks and it worked like a charm!
