Walking distance to SSR to DD - which rooms?

I know this has been asked many times before - sorry! Which rooms are the closest when walking from SSR to DD. We are taking our son and his friend as part of his college graduation gift (leaving May 13). We own at BWV, and he's not thrilled that we aren't staying at there. Told him walk from SSR to DD wasn't too bad. We are waitlisted, but I don't see that happening either.

I think they'll love it! We took DS(25) there last December for an early Christmas - we stayed in the Paddock bldg that's closest to the CP bus stop. Every night when Dr & Mrs Tomorrow were bone tired, DS was off to DTD/PI/WE for some young-adult entertainment. And for some fit young adults, the walk will be a non-issue....

I am wondering something similar - I can see that CP is clearly the closest to DTD, and the pathway to the Marketplace side of things, along with one or two buildings at that end of the Paddock, maybe? But what about for getting to the West End side of DTD? It almost looks like the Springs would be closer to that path. Opinions?

Thanks for the help! Is the walk from SSR to DTD similar to the walk from BWV to MGM? We usually always walk that especially at night.

I know that when we walked to the west side we went all in a round a bout direction because we didn't really know the path.

You have to go past the boat launch, over the bridge on the golf course and that is all I remember.

I think if you are going to the Marketplace it wouldn't be but 10 minutes from anywhere on site. Maybe 12 if you are really just slowly going. We were in CP and it took us 5 minutes, normal pace with 2 kids. I think we walked from the Springs one day and that was about 2 minutes more.

On our last visit, we were in the 6101-6436 building of the Paddock, and it was a, uh, generous walk to anywhere we went. But when we walked to the Marketplace (going up Broadway to Buena Vista Drive, and going right - check the map), it wasn't bad at all. But from our room to West Side, it was a hike. Nothing like a typical day in any of the parks, tho.

less time from the MP - this path is not as well lite as the path between BWV and MGM - but it is lite.... so fine for nighttime.
