Walking distance of GF spa from Poly?

We're staying at the Poly for a couple nights & i have reservations at the GF Spa. I just read that it might be just as quick to walk from Poly to GF Spa rather than taking the monorail to GF (then walking to Spa). I'm not familiar with the grounds but sounds like the GF Spa is between the GF & Poly. Does anyone know how long it might take to walk to GF Spa from Poly? I'm trying to figure out how early i need to leave.

It's no more than a two-minute walk. It's a paved, well-lit path too.

As mentioned, the walk is pretty quick, but you still want to give yourself lots of time before and after your treatment. The lounge is so nice to relax in and you might even want to take a sauna, steam or whirlpool first. They have separate area's for the men and women, so it's very private. Also, after your treatment, you'll want time to sit in the lounge, sip some cool water or tea and get yourself hydrated again. Definitely not something you want to rush to or from.

Thanks TammiMcMan, i appreciate the advice. Definately i'll need to linger afterwards since hopefully i'll feel like a noodle after the wonderful treatments. I don't want to rush to get their either....not a fun way to start a relaxing day. I'm glad y'all were able to give me more details of the proximity of the spa so i can plan accordingly. Now if i could just get November to come a little quicker all would be good!!

Does anyone know how long it might take to walk to GF Spa from Poly?

It's about a ten minute walk along a sidewalk. Of course, it depends on where in the Poly you are starting from. I'm counting from about the Ceremonial House to the entrance to the spa.
