Walking Distance from Doubletree?

We usually stay at the Hojo but this trip we will be at the Doubletree. Does anyone know the difference in distance between the two if you are walking?

It is approx. 1.1 miles versus Hojo's 0.5 miles.

Just to chime in, we stayed at the Doubletree for a week without a rental car and made the walk each morning and evening. The morning walk was awesome...easy, sunshine, full of energy (pushing one umbrella stroller.) The evening walk? Eh, not my favorite after a long day...but still do-able! It was about 20 minutes door to gate, but it honestly doesn't feel too terribly long. Don't feel bound to the shuttle...you could do this for a day or two!

Note that this is written by a woman who hates physical exertion.

I am physically fit, and I once stayed in a different hotel but was just as far away. Just remember that at the end of the day your gonna be tired and your feet ran off. You probably wont want to walk 1.+ miles back to a hotel. It would be fine first thing in the morning, but I would shuttle it at the end of the day. Well at least keep the shuttle as the option.
