Walking Coach?

I am not sure if I am posting this in the right place...if not please someone move me to where I belong!!! I have read about "walking Coaches" on the Disboards and wanted to find one to help me and my daughter to increase our speed etc., but I have not had any luck finding one in our "neck of the woods" as they say, so my entrepreneurial spirit kicked into gear and I am now thinking of becoming one...are there any out there on these boards that would share some info on where one would go to be certified as a walking coach and what it entails etc..? Thanks so much for any knowledge you can share....

There really isn't such a title as a certified walking coach. I'm in a group that has been in the learning process for several years. We race walkers learn form each others. There is no one where I live to learn from so I send video of my walking to some world class friends and they help me refine and I inturn help the rest of the group. One of my group was 3rd in the nation last year in his age group and another is the current Tenn senior champion in the 60 to 64 age group.
