Walking around the World

Do you have a favourite walk around WDW? I've being looking for potential routes for walks (and runs) around the World on Google Earth, but would be interested to hear your experiences. I'm particular interested in routes between the various resorts. Can you walk from Port Orleans to Downtown Disney, for example? Looking forward to your responses.

You can't go wrong with the walk all around the Boardwalk area,you can walk from Epcot's International Gateway to Disney's Hollywood Studios with the Boardwalk,Yatch and Beach Club and the Swan and Dolphin in between the two parks.Look at the whole area on Google earth.As long as it's not too hot I usually opt to walk between the two parks as I really love the area.

Just a note, google earth is kind of deceiving. It looks walkable, but really not. Major highways, swampland, woods.

There are some places....you can walk from EPCOT through the boardwalk area then to a pretty path that goes to DHS.

There are walking paths around most resorts.

A path from SSR to DTD.

I'm sure there are some more. But the WDW is not really a walk around the whole place type of area.

It isn't generally safe to walk between resorts. There are very busy highways and no sidewalks. There are also issues with wildlife, such as alligators and venomous snakes.
