Hi all!
Before I ask my question I will say that in 10 plus years of owning DVC i have never felt the need to walk a reservation until now. So here is the scenario. Last Sept, we visited DL for the very first time , while I was able to lock in 2 of our desired nights at VGC on the very first morning of the 7th month mark, I had to waitlist the 2 other nights. a few days later the third night came in, unfortunately the 4th night never came in. So at the very last moment we made hotel reservation of property to cover the last night. As you can imagine, check out day was a bit crazy since we still wanted to get to the parks at rope drop.
This Sept, we have decided to head back to California once again
!!! This time I would like to secure all four nights. we really like coming back to VGC for a mid day break, and would just prefer to not have to schlep to a new otel after a long day at the park. Being that I was unsuccessful on the very first day of my 7 month mark, I thought I might try walking it. I don't want to have to borrow points so It will likely only give me a two day head start. Thoughts, advice and/or pixie dust always welcome
