Walkie talkies

But don't you only get one wave phone per room? would walkie talkies work on the ship if you have multiple kids you need to keep track of?

You get two per room (unless you are in a two bedroom or Royal suites, in which case you get 4). You can rent more at Guest Services for $3.50 per day. You could also bring your own walking talkies if that's what you prefer, but I've heard conflicting reports about how well that works out. The $40 Motorolas get mixed success reviews. The ones that seem to mostly always work are the $200 900Mhz FHSS (frequency hopping spread spectrum) ones. I believe the Wave phones are DECT based and I haven't seen any walkie talkies using that technology.

Yes 2 wave phones per room. Additional for $3.50 a day.

Walkie talkies have limited success onboard.
