Has anyone had experience renting from Randy's in Orlando for an ECV? I have a reservation with Walker and have used them before but I noticed that Randy's was cheaper and had a $10 off coupon.

Are they as reliable as Walker?
Thanks a lot.

I have rented from both and the service was excellent from both. I did have a flat tire at Epcot about 9pm and Randy's asked me to leave it there and they had a replacement for me early in the am. I did have a little difficulty getting back to the Dolphin. I have no idea how Walker's would have handled it. :confused3

I think both are very good and perform as their websites state.

Would never use anyone but Walker. I thought I read somewhere that Randy's requires you to be present for delivery???? I may be wrong.....

Anyway--Walker has met me at parks to provide assistance, taken mid-stay hotel changes in stride, patiently walked me through assembly on the phone when I get a newer chair, and overall provied exceptional customer service above and beyond IMHO.

Randy's does require someone to be there when the ECV is brought and picked up. We rented one from them on our last trip. It appeared to be almost brand new and was very nice. The person who dropped it off brought it right to our room, explained everything about it and made sure we were comfortable with it before he left.
O'm not sure, but my guess is that one of the reasons that Randy's is a bit less expensive is they may be saving some money on insurance and repairs by making sure that they actually deliver it to someone and demonstrate it.

I've used Walker and Randy's, and I'd use Randy's. I got a dud ECV from Walker that wouldn't hold charge very long. Everywhere we went I had to look for outlets to charge it. I didn't call to have them replace it, because when you're park hopping the last thing you want to do is have to meet someone out front to change ECV's.

You do have to present with Randy's, but that is a good thing, because they will show you how to fold it and break it down to put it in a vehicle and give you any driving instruction you need. I also had a problem when our hotel took delivery of the Walker ECV then lost the ECV. They found it hours later, but they'd locked the key in the safe, and the mgr. on duty couldn't get to it. It was a long, drug out mess that was not Walker's fault, but by meeting you for ECV delivery, Randy's avoids problems like that.
