Walker OR Apple Scooter ?? Need to reserve 1 for my Mom....HELP

Just wanted to say we now went with Apple Scooter as well and while I booked via the web form, I called them afterwards since I had a question and Alex (the owner I think) was very helpful and efficient.

One of the things I love about going to WDW is how disability friendly it is. I often go solo so it is nice to know that there are services and support readily available if I need them.

This will probably be our last trip together (all 8 of us) to WDW, so I want it to be so magical and perfect and special and pixie dusted....well you get the idea

OP Here, after all the reading and research, My Mom and I sat down and I called Apple today and asked to speak with Alex.....VERY Professional and Helpful and Patient
We are all reserved, confirmed and all set with my Mom's Scooter

For 10 days the total cost came to $165, we think that is a fantastic price

We will have delivered to CBR and they will pick up after 8 nights at WDW and have ready when we arrive at Doubletree Hilton outside of Universal Studios for our last 2 nights in Florida

So convenient.....Alex said, You are on vacation, you shouldn't have to worry about anything, that's what they are there for....

I have been using Walker ever since I had to start using the Scooter with only one time. Walker is waterproof, (but I stil cover the machine), the people are very helpful when it comes to bad batteries or breakdowns, which doesn't happen very often. And, to me, I like the people that you talk wiith when you order a scooter or have a problem. I am using Walker again in October!

I'm about to reserve with Apple--so I'm happy to read the positive reviews. My mom has mobility issues and she is thrilled that she'll be able to join us and keep up with my family.

After reading these boards, I also just reserved with Apple for my trip next weekend.

I am suggesting Apple to my mother who is traveling with two people next week who are supremely stubborn and refuse to rent a scooter, but we all know they will want one by the end of the first day! One is 70 and has an extremely limited diet which results in lower energy levels, and the other recently fell from a very high ladder (work related injury) and broke his pelvis and shattered his shoulder and some ribs. He is being male and insists he can walk wherever he wants... We all know this is not going to happen, so we are making plans for when reality hits!
