Walk-Up @ Narcoossee's?

Was thinking of trying Narcoossee's for the first time, but can't get an adr. What are my chances of getting a table (as a solo) as a walk-up @ 5:30pm?

I would try calling for a table for two first. I can't tell you how many times I have been told they don't have a table for five, but say yes for six, or table of 3 and they say yes for 4. If that doesn't work, then I think you'd have a really good chance as a walk up.

You could try, but I can tell you when we were there in late March, we had an ADR for 5:45 PM, and they were turning away walk ups at that time as they were full for the night. Same with CR and Cali Grill when we were there that week. Keep trying on-line - I've been quite successful making and changing ADRs for our up-coming trip. I even scored a 6:20 ADR at LeCellier just last week! People change plans, so keep trying and good luck!

They also have a nice bar area. You could always enjoy your meal at the bar if all else fails.

What night are you looking for? I'm dining solo at Narcoosee Sept 29th at 7:45pm, but plan to show up around 7:15pm to try to get in early. You are welcome to join me. I currently have a table for one, but will of course be seated at a table for two. In fact, when I ate there solo in May '08 I was seated at a four person table.

I also have solo reservations at California Grill, Citricos, Yachtsman, Flying Fish, and Artist Point. I really wanted to eat at several of the Signature restaurants this trip. Can't wait!
