Walk up CRT res...

Anybody ever gotten one?

A walk up reservation is rare, however we have managed to get a reservation the day before. I would recommend to keep trying. Try several times a day. Keep trying when you arrive. Speak with your hotel concierge. Talk to Guest Services. Especially since this is a prepaid meal, people will cancel once they know they aren't attending. Keep trying.

Agreed, we booked a last minute trip a couple of years ago and wound up getting ours about a week out. As noted here, just keep checking...

My niece and nephew walked up and were granted an ADR so they could join us several years ago. It never hurts to ask, but be prepared to eat at CHH.

Sometimes people change plans while on vacation. With a 2 day cancellation, check to see if anything's ben cancelled up until the same day you are going to be there. Last time I was at WDW, my grandkids had had enough, but we had a 6:30 ADR for BOG. I walked over there to se what I could do and got in line behind someone who was back (again) to check for a cancellation. She was told no, no one had cancelled, and I spoke up and said I had one to cancel if I could and would be delighted to see her get it. It worked out for us, so you just never know...
