Walk to MGM/Epcot

How are the walks from BCV to Epcot and MGM?(i.e. time,distance)

For Epcot it seemed like around 200 yards, and took us about 10 minutes to walk it at a leisurely pace (strollers, kids, and all).

For MGM I cannot say. The boat stop is en route to MGM and we always end up opting for the boat. But it seemed like it was at least twice as long as the walk to Epcot.

The EPCOT walk is about 10 minutes max from BCV. Depends on your pace.

MGM is longer. I'd say it took us about 20 minutes to walk with the kids. It's not bad at all. Many times you can beat the boat.

5 minutes to the Epcot Gate.

15 minutes to the MGM Gate (a little over 1 mile, but a very nice path along the water).

We did the walk one day while at MGM. We wanted to see the Boardwalk and Beach Club resorts. I did not think it was a bad walk at all if you were staying at the resorts. The boats did not seem all that fast.

We do so much walking while on vacation - I think we just get used to it. It is a nice break from the parks to just take a easy walk.

It is a farther walk to the YC/BC boat launch from the BCV than it is to the International Gateway entrance to EPCOT.
