walk to beach club from epcot?

i've searched and can't find this out! is it far to walk from epcot --with 2 little kids, 9 and 5.

my plan is epcot in the afternoon- eat there, then off to beaches and cream for the kitchen sink= then we have to go to the marina at the yatch club for the illuminations cruise== is all this walking feasible??

Yes, walk out the international gateway and it is about a 10 to 15 minute walk. Depends how fast you and the kids walk. We stayed at the beach club and it was a beautiful walk . You can also take the friendship boats. It is a nice little boat ride the kids might enjoy.

Hi eddieras,

I did the walk from International Gateway ( by the bridge from the UK to France in World showcase to the Swan in about 10 minutes several times in the past week so It would be about the same time to the Beach/Yacht Club ( I'm a slightly fast walker mind you aand it was not too bad .

what are the friendship boats??

The Friendship boats are the transportation which go between Epcot, MGM, Boardwalk and Beach Club. It is faster to walk from Epcot to BC than taking the boat, but if you have some extra time and would like to rest --- you'll see the boat dock after exiting Epcot at IG.

It's a great walk. Maybe 10-15 minutes tops.

Depending on where you exit the Beach Club the walk can really be as short as a 7 min stroll. We stayed near the quiet pool so it was REALLY close!

It is a very easy walk from IG to the Beach Club - even with kids, less than 10 minutes. In fact, parts of the Beach Club are so close to IG that I am convinced that some of the rooms at the far end of the Beach Club are closer to IG than they are to the BC lobby.

After eating a meal at the Yacht Club Galley, we realized how close they were to both MGM and Epcot. Thinking that would be a great location to stay at in the future.
