Would it be possible to walk through the TRex Restaurant without dining there? Im not really interested so much in the food, but would love to see the looks of Disney's newest dining place. Do you think that would be a problem? Just a quick in and out?

I did it in Dec 2008, but I was by myself and I didn't take pictures or ask if I could. I just walked in past the desk which was busy and no one said anything to me.

I'm sure you can just walk in. When we were there in November I talked to a few families in the Build-A-Dino and they said they weren't eating there, they were just there for the build-a-dino and to look around in the shop. I've went into the Rainforest Cafe before to just look around and no one said anything to me. I think it's probaby fine.

ok, so as someone who will be dining in the restaurant, I think you should be able to go in and stand in the front and take photos but not walk to each of the themed rooms and take photos!! People are sitting and eating their meals and I am sure it is crowded enough with waiters, dining guests, etc. I don't ask to walk through Coral Reef although I am sure it is cool. It's not an attraction.

I doubt they would say anything to anyone. People just walking around oftentimes end up spending money in the gift shop.

Gift shop is MUCH different then walking in to the dining area which is where you need to go to see all of the themed rooms. There is nothing back there but people paying to eat their dinner but it would be the only way to see the different themed rooms - much like rainforest.

I honestly don't know how you would tell the difference between someone just looking through, and someone paying to eat there and checking it out. I know when I have eaten in restaurants, there is always people walking by for some reason or another. I just tune it out, and go about my meal. Unless they are squeezing past my chair or bumping into the table, I hardly notice they are there. Not an attack...just my opinion.

We grabbed drinks and apps at the bar then walked through, although I don't think walking through would be a problem. The place is very cool!
