Walk The Line

I went to see this movie last night at the New Cheap Seats ($2.50, I LOVE it) anyway, it was amazing. I walked into it knowing nothing about Johnny Cash other than he was a singer who died a couple years ago. I thought Joaquin Phoenix did an amazing job, I couldn't take my eyes off him (well, his acting and his looks ) And I definately want the soundtrack now, and can't wait for it to come out on video!

I saw the previews and it looked good and I didn't even realize it was about Johnny Cash.

Hubby got some Johny Cash songs with June Carter singing--and I hope this doesn't offend anyone...just speaks highly of Reese..he thought she did a better job. It was such a treat that the actors did their own singing in the movie--I believe with at least Johny's blessing (maybe even request) if not both him and June.

I can't wait till this movie comes out. I'm going to rent it and then me and a friend of mine (SnowAngel08 here on the DIS) are going to have a Joaquin Phoenix party. HEHE. We are going to watch Ladder 49 and Walk the Line. That is if we can wait till this one comes out. We have been talking about doing this since I first saw Ladder 49 and was telling her about how much I loved that movie. LOL.
