I saw that Frozen was extended for September too; I am not a fan. I hope it's not there when we show up! I just think it will create some crowds where crowds don't need to be.

Your costume and Maddie's costume are ADORABLE. Very well done!

As for anti frizz, I live by Bio Silk Silk Therapy and Chi Silk Infusion - they're expensive, but if you have a Marshall's around where you live (or TJ Maxx), they will often have the sets for cheaper. If you don't, every so often Walgreens will have them on sale over on their sale rack at the end of the first aisle. A major hint on this stuff - just buy the little bitty bottle, it lasts forever! I bought a middle sized Bio Silk on sale at Walgreens two months ago and it's barely budged, even though I use it often. You just use so little at a time!

lol! I felt the same way about Frozen, kinda hoping it wouldn't be extended into my stay but maybe it would draw people from the actual rides! It is what it is though and I'm sure you will do just fine with it going on, you are super prepared!!

I love that chain! I never heard of that before!! How fun!! We recently got a white board in the kitchen and I started a countdown on it but seemed to be going to slow so I erased it! lol (I wanna be there noooooow!!)

So I have been planning on getting John Freidas Frizz-ease shampoo/conditioner based on recommendations here on the dis. I think Tresemme has an anti frizz spray too but my plan currently is to shower and wash my hair at night so in the morning it just needs a quick blow dry and straighten(most of the frizz spray say to use in towel dried/damp hair). Interested to see what you end up going with so please make sure to share!

I'm trying to figure out how to print out and do daily cards as well, just so I don't need to always look at my phone. Although I will probably be doing that anyways for the wait time apps. Also need to clean the pennies we will be using for the penny presses. I'm not sure if I can get a fresh clean roll of American pennies from my bank so I will clean all the ones I have saved up over the years.

So much to comment on!!!

I'm torn about the Frozen at HS thing...part of my is glad we won't be to HS until Thurs, 10/2 so I don't even have to worry about it! But it would be fun to see the fireworks... and the parade... oh well, I'm not switching things around now to try and hit it on our arrival day!

I am in love with countdown chains... my DS does really well with them and it just helps him visualize how long it really is. Plus, they are super easy to make.

Seriously, I LOVE your costumes - Hallie turned out awesome, but that Lambie is ADORABLE!!! (so is the costume) If we were doing a party I would consider borrowing that idea And I've already decided my kids will be the Cat in the Hat, Thing 1 & Thing 2 for halloween this year, so I will file it away for next year...

Your list is looking awesome! I'm afraid to make my list of things to do because I don't even know where to start. I see people who are going the same time as we are and they are starting to pack!?!? We don't have enough clothes to pack it now! Let alone room to leave the suitcases for a month and a half

Love the window clings... There is always Disney ones at halloween time - and yes, Halloween merchandise will be set very soon... It pains me to say that we already have HAlloween AND Christmas in our back room, ready to be set. Sigh.

LOL about the packing... I think I am going to go upstairs this morning to take a picture of my "pile" since Ruth wanted to see it again for this trip. I guess it is sort-of entertaining... and a feat of epic proportions that I can fit it all in my suitcase. Should have seen me when I went to Mo's - I stuffed a quilt and a pillow in there too. ROFL. I'd love to fit my pillow again this time, but I don't think I can make that happen with this trip. Although... V did say she had lots of room in hers...

I have the same hope for the Frozen stuff... We are not doing any of it - and I hope it keeps the crowds there and away from us.

I love the lambic costume!!! I looked reading your opinions on thr frozen stuff. I don't know what do do or think yet. I am more concerned with what is the last day for Ralph and vanellope since that spot is being taken over by hero 6. My dd and hubs are like the real life versions of those 2. Boo on the Frozen stuff. At first mom texted me and we thought that you had to buy the tickets (like MNSSHP) I'm glad it's not like that!!! But that day is supposed to be Dapper Day and we were planning on wearing our tea dresses and hats. Now I'm not sure if they will keep it or change the date. I would hate to be the only ones walking around in big dresses and hats!!!! So, the fireworks don't take place of Fantasmic????? I was thinking that it would mess with that but if they are after.......I am not quite as upset! Fingers crossed that your theory is right and the rest of the park is slow!

Good to know! I am pretty sure we wont have time though, we'd have to give up doing any rides to make it work, I doubt the kids or us will want to do that. In our house everyday is a Frozen singalong anyway! lol!

The chain is wonderful because every time we reduce our countdown on the chalkboard I have Olivia still has no clue how long "49" days is! It helps a lot for her to see the days going away and see how many links are left! It has really reduced the "how long until Disney" questions too!

Just make yourself some index cards! So easy, you can even just write them out! We still need to clean pennies too, that'll be a science experiment for us!

I agree, switching things is too much of a hassle this late in the game. I just had to switch to dining plans, luckily they were QS so no ADR times were affected, and even that caused me to cringe. I hate moving things now that I have them the way I want them!

Hahaha, yes, I have all the shirts I guess I could pack, but I will be using my shorts up until the day we leave!! I am about to start photographing all the outfits again and my plan is to pack them as I finish, but I am slightly worried theyll get to wrinkled if I do that? Hmmm...

I did a while back, hers is just the store bought Doc McStuffins costume. It would have cost me more to piece it together myself, so I just went with the easy option. I will post again in the mega-outfit update!

Yea, you would think with 2 small girls I would be all over the Frozen stuff, but aside from meeting A&E, which we got FP's for, that's all we need. We like to be doing as much as we can, and waiting around in the hot sun to sing a long to stuff doesnt sound appealing since we do that EVERYDAY in my house! LOL!! I may pop into the Wandering Oakens Trading Post to shop and look around if it's not too crazy and time permits though! And like I mentioned, the fireworks, because they don't interfere with any plans!

I would think that Vanellope and Ralph will still be there bc that movie doesnt even come out for another couple months! Fingers crossed for ya!

Dapper Day is still a go, it would seem, I have seen no rumors of it changing. I am really looking forward to DD too, just to see all of the cute people walking around, yourself included!!

I checked on the Frozen Fireworks/Fantasmic thing and schedules have been updated to show Fantasmic still at 8pm and FF at 8:45! I am happy, bc we LOVE Fantasmic and want to see it both nights we are in HS I am sure!

I have also looked into the Dapper Day and so far it seems as if nothings changed. That is going to be one busy park!! But it should be a lot of fun. We just have to plan on that being a more look around and check stuff out day and have realistic expectations on how much we will actually be able to get done! I cant wait!!!

Thank you!! Yeah, it is pretty much my first trip! I went for one day to the Magic Kingdom when I was 3, so I remember nothing! My hubby has been twice, but the last time was in 1997! So we are SUPER excited!!

I have started a PTR in Word, but I don't have enough posts yet to add pictures, so I am working on getting my post count up before I add it!
