I did the Walk in Walt's footsteps tour in '07 and the apartment wasn't on the itinerary. All in all I would take it again, as I made some nice friends on the tour, but I agree with the other posters. It is quite long, quite hot, and more than a little exhausting. I found myself wanting to leave several times to go get water or sit down.
Major positives for me, were that I had never actually gone into the Tiki Room (it was included on the tour then) and I got to see the elevator for Club 33 and one of the Tiki Flowers up close. I also got a pin for doing the tour and an extra pirates pin left over from the event the prior month.
If I were there for a week, or more than a couple days I would definitely go again, but it's not for those who tire easily or have small children.
