Has anyone done the Walk in Walt's Footsteps tour? I saw a special on Disney parks (from 2010), and it talked about this tour (also referred to it as the Backstage tour?) And it mentioned getting to see the Dream Suite and inside Club 33 (lobby only). Can anyone confirm? Has anyone done this tour? What all does it include? (Also, how long is it? What is the cost? Is it worth the time away from touring/riding?) Thanks!!:goodvibes

I have not taken the tour but am very interested in hearing others responses as we are considering going on the tour as well.

We took the tour on June 2nd and it was awesome! We heard a lot about the parks and the history behind it. We did go into the lobby of Club 33 and could take pictures in the lift and we heard quite a bit about the history of the club. We rode Jungle Cruise and the Disneyland Railroad during the tour. Our tour guide was a Disney fanatic and said giving tours was her dream job so she had a lot of energy and a lot of trivia to share with us. It made for a very fun morning. The tour lasted about 3 1/2 hours including the lunch at the end. We also got a pin that is only given out to people who have taken the tour (or so she said :) ) I would recommend it if you have the time in your trip.

We did this tour about 2 years ago. It was great and I highly recommend it. We got to go into the Tiki Room and was able to see one of the flowers up close and see how they worked. We also got to go into the lobby of Club 33, but not the Dream Suite. We were told that because they do have guests staying there, that they can't bring people through it any longer.

Lunch was awesome. Since my DH and I were the only ones on the tour, we had our tour guide eat lunch with us, and got information on lots of stuff in the park.
