Walk from POFQ to POR.

I just made reservations for my fiance and I to take a romantic carriage ride through PO the night before our wedding!! I'm sooo excited and i'm going to surprise him with this!! So our reservation is at 8:00 pm and they told me we should get there 15 minutes ahead of time.... we have to meet the driver at the "dockside of Port Orleans Riverside"... whatever that means.. I figured I'd find it though...

so my question is... what time should we leave POFQ and start walking over there? how long does the walk take? thanks everyone!

It shouldn't be more than 10 minutes or so for you. I have the walk in photos (you start with Part 1 and then go to Part II):

It is a very nice walk.

It takes about 10-15 mins walk from POFQ to POR. Depends what pace you take but definately doesn't take long

I would leave FQ somewhere around 7:30. That way do don't rush & you can check out POR while you are there. We did the carriage ride last month & it was lovely. Don't forget your camera-the driver will take your picture for you. You meet the driver between where the Riverside Mill is & the boat/bike rental area. It is in a little courtyard area. Enjoy & congrats!! By the way, since you don't mind walking between POFQ & POR, take another stroll back in the morning sometime & go to Boatwright's for sweet potato pancakes with honey pecan butter. YUMMY!!!
