Walk from HRH to US and/or IOA

How long is the walk from HRH to US and/or IOA? I'll be with 3 Kids and am wondering if its quicker to walk or take the boat to each park?

It's quicker to walk to Universal Studios than to take the water taxi.

Very short walk maybe 5 minutes to US and 10 minutes to IOA. If you go to parks early the water taxi can get crowded. Not a bad walk though alot of shade and things to look at.
