Hi. Was wondering if anybody knew how far/how long approx. it would be to walk from Coronado Springs resort to ASMusic? We'll be eating at CS and didn't know if it would be ridiculous or not to cab it back to ASMu? :confused3
Thanks!

I don't believe there are any sidewalks between the two resorts and walking would be very dangerous. Your best bet is to take a cab. Otherwise, take the bus to AK and then back to ASMusic.

There are sidewalks and crosswalks, so you can walk between Coronado Springs and All-Star Music. But the walk is more than two miles one way.

At Coronado Springs, cross Buena Vista Drive at the crosswalk to the opposite side of the road. Walk past Blizzard Beach and under Osceola Parkway. Just south of the big McDonald's, take the crosswalk across Buena Vista Drive because your sidewalk continues on the other side of the road. Walk past the All-Star Music automobile entrance to a sidewalk that goes to the All-Star Music lobby building.

If Blizzard Beach is open, you could take a bus to Blizzard Beach and connect there. You could also connect at any theme park or Downtown Disney, but you'll spend more time on the bus.

A cab is the fastest option.

Thanks so much for the info. :thumbsup2

I think I'll keep with the original plan of taking a cab. Just didn't want to look like we're lazy if it was such a short distance. But 2 miles, at the end of a long day, might not be the best idea. Feet have usually had it by then! :headache:

Too dangerous- that is a very busy highway. Take a bus to AK then transfer over to the AS bus.

There are sidewalks and crosswalks the whole way. I can't imagine why anyone would think it dangerous. It would be slightly under 2 miles.

I agree its a perfectly safe walk - I see joggers on the path between the two resorts all the time and have often see groups of convention goers walking from the CSR to McDs maybe(?) -- not sure where they are going but at any rate there are wider sidewalks further from the road in my town and cross walks all the way.

I stand corrected - there aren't too many roadways at WDW that also have sidewalks and crosswalks for guests to use - this is one of them, I guess!

I wonder if the sidewalks go all the way to McDonald's...

Yes, the sidewalk goes right past McDonald's. You can walk, if a bit lengthy, between any point in Coronado Springs, Blizzard Beach/Winter Summerland, McDonald's, and any of the All-Star Resorts.

I measured the distance on Bing.com; from the main entrance of CSR to the main entrance of ASMU is 1.9 miles. All of it is on nice, wide, safe sidewalks along Buena Vista Drive. Well, they're safe from automobiles, at least, since they're set well back from the roadway, but I wouldn't vouch for their safety from gators or two-legged predators, since they pass by some fairly deserted wooded areas along the way.

Here's a link to the CSR area on Bing.com; you can easily see the sidewalk on the opposite side of Buena Vista Drive and follow it all the way to ASMU.

Thanks Will. The map thing is great!!! :thumbsup2 I have a feeling I'll be playing around with that for hours!!!
So...it is under 2 miles. I'd walk it but now I'm freaked about the possible creature features!!!! :scared1:
