Walk from BC to HWS

This might be a silly question but I have a few people in my party that “spook” easily...they are concerned about the walk from Beach Club to Hollywood Studios and encountering alligators. We have done the walk before and noticed the path gets a little narrow with no barriers from the water to the land. I know there’s always a chance, but anyone have any encounters with this? Or can you offer any advice to calm my fellow travelers? I happen to like the stroll but never thought it could hold some danger!

We walked it a few times our last trip. Saw a lot of birds and a couple turtles. It was also very well lit at night.

I'd be more concerned about running into a snake than a gator, but I'd expect there are some alligators in the water there.

I'd be more concerned about my feet hurting. It's not a short walk. (I know people will disagree.)

We always stay in one of the Epcot resorts and walk it every trip, most trips more than once and often at night and have never seen an alligator. We were there last week and actually trying to see one and didn't.

We were one of the many that couldn't wait for that pathway to be finished and have enjoyed it ever since. We love that's it there, really feel lucky that it's there for us to use now, and (fwiw) have never seen an alligator and never worried about one, either.

Edited to correct stupid spelling :)

We always walk from BC to HS and back. Never encountered an alligator. It is a nice walk and well lit. We have seen bunnies and ducks. That's about it.
