Walk from AKL to AK??

I just read in a guidebook that there is a walkway from AKL to the AK park. Is this true? If so, how long is the walk? Where does the walkway start/end? ie what part of the resort/park. Thanks

I've stayed there twice and never heard about/seen this.

You would think a 'walking trail' would start around the bus stop area (but I've never seen anything of the sort)

I was there in January last...dunno if this has changed recently...

No walkway that I know of, and no sidewalks along the road either.

Even if there was a sidewalk I think it would be quite a long walk (or perhaps I am just lazy!).


Call me crazy, but I would love a monorail link. AKL and Poly are my favorites and I really miss the monorail while at AKL.

There is no walkway to AK from AKL. When you take the bus, it will be the first one when you go down to the bus stop. Personally, I think it would be a bit too far to walk IMHO.

Never herad of it and never seen it and we have stayed at the AKL from week one. I suppose you could but it would be a long walk and not very safe.

We found the bus service from AKL to AK to be quite efficient, very short wait. I don't think there is a walkway.
