Walgreens September Rebates are up!

Ok I must be lost. So let me start over. Wal greens has the razer for 9.99 plus you get the blades free. So now I also have a manf. coupon that I have to buy the razor and get the blades free. So do I pick up one razor and two packages of blades and use this coupon in conjunction with the ad? Is that right?

thanks
Sabrina

Okay, gotcha. You have 2 choices:

1) Pay 9.99 for the razor and get 2 packages of blades for free (one from the walgreens special and one from the coupon)

2) Get the razor 9.99 and the blades free, then use the coupon for the free blades and they'll take of 10.99 (cost of blades) so really, the razor and both packages of blades are free adn you'll have $1 extra.

Does that make better sense? I thought you meant you had 2 coupons. I don't think you need any type of coupon for the Walgreens deal of getting the blades free. I assume that they'll automatically come off.

OK, I did it today.
I bought:
1 Razor $9.99
1 Blades $10.99
2 Packs Dentyne Ice Gum 2 x .99= $1.98
Total including Tax = $24.57
-10.99(Blades free due to store ad)
-10.99(Mfg blades Coupon)
-.99(mfg gum coupon)
Total paid $1.60 which was basically tax because the extra dollar from the razors paid for the gum. I didn't think it would work but it did with no problems at all! Wow! Thanks guys!

- Walgreens Comfort Stretch Diapers $4.00 - $4.00 Rebate = FREE

Has anyone ever used these diapers? I am trying to stock up for now, so I'd like to know if they are worth it. Do they leak?

Thanks.

Ok, I think I need to try this.

I don't have any manu coupons, but there seem to still be some fantastic deals.

Anyhow I have a question about rebates. Many of the deals that are good right now are rebate deals. But the rebate book online at Walgreen's site is for purchases made by the 24th. So is there also a weekly book or is there a new rebate book out for October? Will I be able to get it at Walgreen's?

The book is monthly. It is for purchases made by Sept 24th. After Sept 24th a new book will come out for October.

Ok, I plead Jet lag- I got in late last night after having to take 4 planes to get home (Katrina caused me to miss two connections so they turned into 4).

It is now Aug. The new deals are for Sept... I am feeling really stupid... I think I just want it to be the end of Sept, because we go to WDW in October.

What are these Gillette coupons?? Does anyone have any extras??????

Don't tell me they are from a few weeks ago....I think I remember throwing them out! Grr...I am mad at myself.

There were some a few weeks ago, but there was also one in this sundays paper. YOu can also order them here: http://www.thecouponclippers.com/coupons/customer/home.php
they charge .20 each for the gillette coupons adn they charge a .50 handling fee per order and a .60 shipping fee. So it's not bad, especially with what you save.

I am so glad that I was not the only one who was confused about the Gillette razor thing. :confused3 :confused3 I just didn't want to sound silly. I actually have two coupons to use, I'm trying to save and stock up on some things before our trip. I am also trying to be a good little wife and save some money, since I drive an hour each way to work and these gas prices are starting to really scare me.
But thanks for clearing up all my confusion on how to get the razor for FREE

Don't laught but I forgot to ask, has anyone used these razors?? Are they good or just ok?

I went to Walgreens last night.

I paid 42.80

Total savings: 29.32

MIR that I qualify for: 20.49

I am probably going to go back tonight to get diapers for the hurricane victims.

The ladies version is th venus vibrance which DD12 uses and loves. I showed it to DH last night and asked if he'd use it, he's relatively unimpressed(doesn't particularly need any "vibration" in his shave) but he says since it's free he'll try it and if it's not good, DD can use it, eventhough it's not pink.

Which rebates did you take advantage of? I spent more than that and only qualified for $8 worth of rebates. I plan to buy more things as the month goes on, I'm relying on my grocery game list to point me in the right direction. I didn't want to buy the chips or the makeup so I didn't qualify for the $10 one or the $5 one yet. I'm hoping they have better deals before the end of the month so I can take advantage of those.

DH has one and he likes it fine. He said that it shaves well, but he doesn't think that the vibrating does any good. But he does like it w/o the vibrating and is excited that I'm getting him blades for free :teeth:

The Got 2 B hair Gel (3.99). The makeup - $10 GC. The Alavert ($6.50). I did buy 2 bags of chips, have to buy 2 more and I will qualify for the $5 Frito Lay. Also going to buy the scented oil candle for $2, but didn't count either of those yet. The diapers would be $4. So after this week I should end up with a total of $31.49 for the week.

My Got2b was $4.99, I didn't want the makeup, I didn't want the Alavert and to qualify with the chips, I needed to buy like 8 bags or something. I was hoping that later in the month pepsi would be on sale and I could do the fritolay rebate that way. I did buy the scented candle and the other glad air freshener thing. So, $4.99 + $2 + $1 so far.

I wanted the makeup and the Alavert. Anything that is free or nearly free, I want. If I don't use it, I can give it to charity. I'm going back for free diapers tonight and I have no children - I'm donating them to the hurricane victims. I hate Pepsi. (actually I had to buy 4 bags of chips and got 4 free - after the $5 off they equal out to .88 a bag).

I've used them on my 2.5 year old (who gives his diapers a pretty good workout at this point :rolleyes1 ) and haven't had any problems with leaks. Give them a try, you've got nothing to lose. I used Pampers for the longest, but have become a convert to generics over the past 6 months and wish I'd started sooner. You can get Walgreen's and CVS diapers (which are also good) so cheap when they're on sale buy 1 get 1 free. Plus, CVS gives you a free package after you buy 5 (and even gives you credit when you redeem your coupon for a free one). CVS just had their B1G1F sale running last week and I was able to get 8 packages of diapers for just a tad over $2 a pack--and these were equivalent in size to Pampers mega packs!
