i've done cvs and rite aid but never walgreens -- i assume i have to get a card - how long till the RR expire?

thanx

Just my 2 cents, but here is what makes Walgreens hard:

1) The RR have to have the same number of items as rewards you are using. So, if you buy one pack of diapers and give over two $5 rewards the register won't allow it.

2) RR don't roll within companies. There are no limits since no card but if you do a P&G deal you can't use those rewards to get another set of P&G rewards.
Occasionally, they do roll though.

These two things alone make it harder for me to get deals as good as CVS or Rite Aid. I have only ever tried the deals once or twice but got frustrated with these limitations. Plus, since there is no card and never any limits the good stuff sells out at store opening on Sunday around here.

We've learned just to throw in a pack of gum or candy bar to fix #1 when we count up our items, if we need to.

Thanks, i am a major CVSer recently did some deals at RiteAid and saw a good deal i wanted to do this upcoming week at Walgreens

But 15.00 Garnier get a 5RR

Hair dye $5.00

5x3 = 15
(minus) (3) $3.00 coupons so 15-9= $6.00oop get back 5RR

I generally have better luck with Walgreens then I do with CVS. Also our Walgreens has a really great staff who go out of their way to help find more coupons or help you find stuff on sale. They get excited for you when you find deals :) I do watch all 3 drugstores but have not been back to CVS in a while now.

The RRs are usually good for about 2 weeks. There has to be as many items as you have coupons which means sometimes you have to buy "fillers" to get your item count up. I usually keep an eye on the site iheartwags and she lists good fillers for each week. When in doubt I grab a pencil for the kids. All the Walgreens coupons have limits of 3. My store is tiny so sometimes they do run out. On the other hand when there are sales on items they do not normally carry, they will bring them in for the sale.
