Walgreens Contact Lenses

I may be late to the party here, but in case others don't know about this yet...

I used to buy my contacts through my eye doctor and I knew I wasn't getting the best price. So, I thought I'd check out ordering them from Walgreens.

One box from my eye doctor is $50

Walgreens has them for $41.99
I used a 25% off coupon coupon code ($10.50 off)
Total $31.49 shipped free

The ones I got are from Walgreens.com.

I always buy my contacts on walgreens.com. They always seem to have online coupons for 15% to 25% off. And I get them pretty quickly, usually within 4 days.

When ordering online, do you just ask your doctor's office for your prescription? I usually buy from them and am unfamiliar...

Your prescription (power) is on your box(es) of contacts. You will be asked to enter it when you order. The site will also ask for you doctor's name and phone number. I guess they're supposed to call or fax your doctor to verify the prescription.

I always get copies of all our prescriptions from the Doctor's office after each visit. I then google online to who has the cheapest price. (We have 4 contact lens wearers in the house). I then order online and then fax or e-mail copy of the prescription to them. Just did that this past week. Found best online price - ordered contacts on Monday and got them on Friday.
