Need help deciding.......we planning on staying 8 - 10 days, family of 4, using HH points. We will probably travel in July. Princesses are 15 and 11. We will be renting a car.

I say Waldorf, it is nicer and if you have status the upgrades are fantastic. Plus you can use the pool at the Hilton even though you are staying at the Waldorf. Plus I think the bathroom is better, definitely bigger at the Waldorf, with 2 princesses that might be worth it.

Don't spend the extra points just to stay at the Waldorf. The Bonnet Creek is really nice, especially with kids.
More to do, the pool is MUCH bigger, better, has activities and a lazy river plus a water slide.

The rooms and bathrooms are plenty big for 4 people. Ask for a Disney view and a high floor as the view is awesome!

I've stayed several times at the Hilton. The kids have enjoyed the lazy river. Also we put in a request for the parlor suite and have received it several times. It is $120 a night for the parlor suite and my room is on points. This gives us a more than enough room.

Between the two, I am a bit partial to the Waldorf, but really I'm not sure you could go wrong with either. We've had a suite both times at the Waldorf and it was pretty spectacular. I did a full review here if it helps. That said, I find myself spending far more time in the Hilton, as I walk to their coffee shop each morning and enjoy their lobby bar much more than one at W-A.

I would be more inclined to save the extra points and stay at the Hilton. If you know that you will spend any time at the pool the Hilton pool is much better for the kids. Also, if you are going to be spending the bulk of your time away from the hotel again, save the points, the Hilton is really nice.

We recently (February) stayed one night at each. The point values were the same for us so we decided to try them both to see where we wanted to go back to. The pool at the Hilton was GREAT for DS (2.5). The lazy river was really nice. But, you can use it even if you are staying at the Waldorf.
I don't have an equal comparison because we were upgraded to a one bedroom suite, fireworks view at the Waldorf and had a standard fireworks view room at the Hilton.
Service at the Waldorf was better (they wouldn't let us make up our own sofa bed and scheduled it to be made up while we were out at dinner - came back and voila! it was done) but I felt a little more comfortable at the Hilton.
We were kept waiting for at least an hour for our room to be ready and I got pretty nervous trying to occupy my 2.5 year old in the beautiful lobby in the Waldorf, whereas the lobby of the Hilton was always bustling with kids and activity, so it was just more "family friendly." With your princesses, that shouldn't be an issue and they might really like feeling like the princesses they are at the Waldorf!
Either are a great choice, we enjoyed both very much.
