Waldorf Astoria on Disney Property Question

Do guests at the Waldorf receive the 180 days out restaurant reservations and 60 days out FP? If not, when do people staying off site receive these? Thank you!

Unfortunately, the Waldorf is not a Disney owned hotel and its guests do not receive the perks Disney hotel resort guests receive for staying on property. I haven't stayed at the Waldorf, but I do believe its guests get access to fast passes at 30 days just like any park ticket holder staying offsite does. Now, restaurant reservations are not tied to hotel or resort reservations and anyone can book a meal at 180 days out, however only Disney hotel resort guests get access to their whole vacation ADR booking at once (so if you have a week long vacation, you can book all seven days at 180 days out). Off site guests must book each day at the 180 day mark for each day of their vacation, so no instant, full access to booking all your meals for whole trip in one day.

This is very helpful. I got a good rate at Waldorf for next winter, but now I am heavily reconsidering this choice. Thank you.

It looks like a lovely hotel. I've been tempted. I'd probably stay there if I were taking a last minute trip and reservations and fast passes were not an issue.

For our next trip, we will probably only do a few of days at the park (Epcot for my DH and MK for me and my DD) so it is tempting. I got a rate of 170.00 before the resort fee, so have held it. I need to weigh the pros and cons.

The only other con might be the transportation to/from the parks could be a little less convenient. There are plenty of pros to the four resorts in the Bonnet Creek area and they all look outstanding with plenty of value for the money. The dining at the Waldorf is supposed to be outstanding. I love the Waldorf in NYC and Chicago so I certainly would never hesitate to stay there. The main cons would obviously be the difficulty of finding the hardest to get FP+ and ADRs if that is important to you. I wouldn't worry about the ADRs because I would want to take advantage of the opportunity to try the dining in that area. Other disadvantages could be the lack of Disney theming or the opportunity to use a ddp, but the restaurants in that area don't take the ddps anyway.
