Wal Mart savings catcher

Apparently I buy the wrong stuff at WalMart. I have been using that app for a year and only have about $10.
I'm buying the wrong stuff too!! It seems like every time I submit my receipt I get " Good news, no lower prices found".....ummm, thanks? :crazy2: I've got $5.46 saved up.....

I've done pretty okay with the savings catcher, but I mostly end up getting money on the prepackaged food items that we buy. My hubby's Rockstar drinks (if you ask me- YUK), my yogurts, and our breakfast bar-type items are often the culprit of most of my earned back money.

I wonder if the other store in proximity to my Wal-Mart just run more sales? I constantly have money back for lower prices found at another store. The most common ones I see are for toilet paper (Scott), laundry detergent (Gain), GatorAde, GoGurt, Goldfish, paper plates, and a guaranteed rebate any time I permit the purchase of soda. Granted, the rebates are never huge, but they sure do add up!

I just got back $6.60 this week and $4.85 last week so I am happy. I now do most of my food shopping there so the app has been great for me.

I do most of my shopping at WalMart due to it being a mile from my house, and we use our savings catcher exclusively to buy $25 Disney cards! When I get close to $25, usually anything over 20, I redeem onto my e-gift card and then buy the Disney card. I've gotten two cards since I started using savings catcher about 4 months ago! But my husband buys frozen meals for lunch a lot, and I mainly buy prepackaged food there, I go elsewhere for meat and produce anyway (the items that they won't match)

Something to keep in mind with the Savings Catcher is that even if you aren't getting a whole lot back it keeps a digital copy of your receipts. Even if I buy something I know won't be matched I scan the receipt anyway.it came in handy when I had to return some curtains for my son's room and for the life of me couldn't find the paper receipt. With the holidays coming up it can help ensure that you get back what you paid and not the current sale price if you have to return something and the receipt goes missing.

I've done pretty well with the Savings Catcher app. I'm either a really crappy shopper or it's because I live in a large city where major stores are within a mile or two of each other. Last year with the Blue Bird double cash I was able to buy DS a video game and all the fixings for our post Christmas get together with my sister. I've just been letting it accumulate and will do the same this year.

I have a little over $60 since last Nov. I am using it to buy my DS large Christmas gift that is $100. Watching for a sale on the gift too.

:yay:I'm excited to see that you can use savings catcher to buy Disney gift cards at SAMS. I plan to use it to save on gift cards for on board charges, excursions and Disney Pandora beads/charms on our 2016 DCL cruise. I had looked at the other posters using Raise and Target but felt it was too much of a hassle. I have to admit I hate shopping at Walmart but they've hooked me with the savings catcher.
