Wal Mart after Christmas

Has anyone shopped Walmarts after Christmas "sale" ? DD is going to have a spa slumber party in January and I was hoping to pick up some of the little girl bath sets left over from Christmas for door prizes. Are they usually left and about how much do they run?

Yes, we have bought their "gift sets" after the holidays. If you are not TOO particular about what scent, they usually have lots left. Last year DH picked up several "apple" themed ones (long story, but I always need apple-themed gift items) in about early to mid-January for more than 50% off. Also, check out the dollar spot at Target. They are LOADED with creams, soaps, jewelry and such right now. And I am SURE that most of that will be clearanced soon after Christmas.

I, too, will be out looking for b.day party stuff right after the holidays for DS's January birthday. He usually has the BEST goodie bags, due to the timing! And if DD could decide earlier on her birthday theme (July b.day), then I would be shopping for her too!.........Good luck...............P

That is a really cute birthday party theme!! I LOVE it!! You should definetly be able to pick up a bunch of stuff 50-75% off in the days/weeks following Christmas. You may want to go right away to get some of your top picks at 1/2 off- then if you wait a week or so-- you should be able to go and pick up more for even less as fillers.
