Hey There,

This has probably been discussed on here before....BUT....someone told my wife that at MK if you are the first one to the TinkerBell Shop in Fantasyland you get to wake up Tink and you get some sort of certificate or something like that.
Anyone verify that!?

I don't know for sure about the certificate, but this is something that is done. I've also recently read that because more people know about this, it's becoming somewhat of a "race" to be the first to get to the shop. There was a thread recently about an argument that occurred in the store as to who was actually first to arrive.

My DD did it last year. It was really cute, they gave her a wand and a stool to stand on so she could hit the wand on the box and yell "wake up Tinkerbell". Well they didn't know my DD so she really YELLED, it didn't take long to wake Tink up :rotfl: They had a cute pink certificate with Tinker Bell on it and they put her name and date and it says she woke Tink. It was a really magical moment, definitely worth the hustle it took to get there first. ONce we were done two other families came in asking if she was already awake.

It's so funny how many times I go to that store and I never knew that they actually had Tink in the bureau. I have to look for her.

When DW and I were down in March we got there just after a family with two little boys and got to watch them wake up Tink and see her fly around the room. :Pinkbounc

It was neat. We weren't trying to wake her up, we were cutting through all the shops to stay out of the rain :umbrella: and just happened to wind up in the right place at the right time to watch it happen! :moped:

We got to wake Tink in May - well DD's did - it is so cute. They each rec'd a certificate and shiny Tink stickers....

When we were there two weeks ago I went in to see if the bureau was working but the lights weren't connected properly so the mirror wasn't sparkling & you couldn't see her thru the keyhole. :( I was glad that I checked it out before I said anything to the kids.

DD & DS got to do it this past spring, as well. DD got a wand, and DS got to hold a sword. I was surprised that we were able to do it, for we got to the store at least 15 minutes after the park opened. I thought that we would be too late.

My DD's did this in April. We had a PS at Crystal Palace at 8:05, park opened up at 9:00. We were done with breakfast and went up through the castle to the rope drop. Tink's Treasures is right outside to the left. Get on the left side of the rope and head over asap. Two other families came in after we had done it. DD's received certificates and stickers.

My DD (6) did this last December. She loved it and got a cute "magical moments" certificate which is hanging in her room today! I'm so glad that we got to do it, b/c it seems like it is harder to be able to do now b/c of its popularity.

Good luck! :wizard:

Where is the store located in the MK. We have a PS ay 8:05 for CRT and I would like to try to do this with my daughter. So can you tell me where Tink's shop is located???

Yes. Your wife is correct. You should listen to her more often! ;)

How cool! I had never heard of this. On these boards I learn something new everyday!

I heard of this before but never thought it was true. You know them rumors!
Well we sure will try to be there first to wake her up!
WAKE UP TINKERBELL-just practicing! :flower:
