Is it true that you can have wake up calls from characters? and does this cost extra?

The WDW resorts all have the same Character wake-up call.

Guests don't "schedule" it-it "usually" just plays when a wake-up call happens.

It changes from time to time-I "think" the current one is still Baymax.:)

that's cool ill totally be using that instead of an alarm that's so cute! I kinda hope the character changes before I go just because idk the new characters that well especially if im half wake lol

And no, there's no extra charge for the wake up call. You just do it from your resort room phone and punch in the time. I make sure I know where the speaker button is so my husband can get woken up by the character which leads to some amusing morning conversation (when we first started going it was "I'm going to kill that mouse!")

How neat. Every time we've done this in the past it was Mickey. I didn't know they changed it up.

Just to clarify a little more,it is a recorded message and not a "live" call from the Characters and it is the same "message" each day.:)

Since I have been going to WDW these have been the Characters:

Mickey Mouse
Stitch-for a LONG time!
Mike Wazowski
Olaf
Baymax:)

It would be cute if they did a different character each day of the week. So, that if you had 7 wake-up calls it would be 7 different characters. I like getting the wake-up calls.

We had Baymax in August, Olaf last year and before that Stitch and Mickey. Stitch was the best! It's fun to wake up to:-)
