Who is the voice for the wake-up call.

Last I heard they were changing it to Stitch...

Is it still the Mouse himself? :)

Just wondering! :)

Hi :)

We just returned last night from the AKL and I had Mickey's wonderful voice waking me up every morning. :) Boy would I have loved to have had a Stitch as he is neck and neck with Tigger as my favorite character :)

And fortunately when I was at the BCV at Thanksgiving, Mickey woke me up every day. I was at WDW when they tried Stitch in June. I'm so glad Mickey's back! Now I get "up and at 'em" every day!

Oh Good!! It just wouldnt be right without Mickey waking everyone up!! :)

Arent just the smallest things wonderful!!!

Thanks everyone!

Diane, Tigger is my favorite and I would just love to have his voice wake me in the mornings on my stay! GET READY TO BOUNCE!!! lol

What do you mean "the smallest things"? I take Mickey waking me up very seriously, a MAJOR thing. I wouldn't even consider staying at Swan or Dolphin once I knew Mickey didn't wake guests up there, even though I'm a teacher and would be eligible for a discount. If anyone asked me for my favorite non-park attractions, the Mickey wake up would be right at the top of my list. I almost cried in June when I picked up the phone one morning and it was Stitch!

Well, the Mickey wake-up call is what I consider a "small thing" --a great perk that Disney resorts offer. :) And I too love it. :) I am glad they changed it back to Mickey and didnt leave it with Stitch.

when we had to go to WDW when our cruise was cancelled we just had a regular wake-up call - no Mickey for us

Just a regular wake-up call for us too -- each time. What do you have to do to get a Mickey call??

Often there is a long bit of music before Mickey begins speaking. I can't imagine that they wouldn't use the Mickey greeting at all of the resorts. I know they've used them at all of the resorts I have stayed at but, again, sometimes you have to wait a bit to hear Mickey.

There wasn't even music -- just blank. Maybe I needed to arrange Mickey calls with guest services??? I just pressed the "wake-up call" button on the telephone and set the time with the automatic wake-up call service. (You know, "Press 1 for a.m. / 2 for p.m. -- indicate the time you wish to receive your call followed by the star key...") Is that what everyone else is doing??

Yup, that's all I've ever done too. Next time wait a bit before hanging up. Usually Mickey will come on the line.

Sometimes - especially during a "common time" you will get a delay with either dead air or music. Either speak or just wait and Mickey will eventually wake you up. We now pick an unusual time say 7:03 or 8:09 rather than 8:00 when lots of people may be getting the call and always get Mickey. We also use the option right on the telephone.

Up & Attum.....

Mickey was always the wake-up call for us at the Poly. However, I did hear that it was changing over to Stitch??

When I was there last month, it was the Big Cheese himself doing the wakeup calls!! I had 2 of them, and it was always Mickey!!!

We had Stitch call us when we were there last April. I do believe because of guest complaints they changed back to Mickey Mouse. When we go in 50 days my dd will be sad because she loves stitch
