This is not a thread to criticise Universals fat profilling for Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey, there's plenty of that going on.

I'm determined to ride this ride, and the only way I'm to do it is by taking things into my own hands by living a healthier lifestyle, making better eating choices and doing more exercise.

I don't have long (less than two months), but I think I can do it. Who's with me? :yay:

Great post!! I applaud you on your attitude. I have never had what most would consider a weight problem but I can say that last summer, my pants were getting rather snug and I was determined not to go up a size. I tuned up my eating habits and since August, I've lost 18 pounds and those pants fit just fine now.

Good luck on your personal journey to ride Forbidden Journey.

Thanks for posting Steve, good job! Many people would've just bought bigger pants, good on you for doing something about it.

It's so difficult to be healthy at Disney, but I'm going to try my best and stick to those healthy options! There's so much temptation... :goodvibes

Good Luck in your Lifestyle Changes. I made that decision 1 year ago and have lost 35 lbs so far.

I am hoping I will be able to ride FJ in December. I am able to ride Sum of All Thrills at Epcot - so I am hoping that I will fit in the Cars at Universal.

I was thinking about figuring out how to start a thread and create one to share tips on how to eat healthier at Disney World? Whose with me?:yay:
It IS possible to eat healthy at Disney... it just takes some will power, knowledge and planning!

rule #1: Don't even THINK about getting the Deluxe Dining Plan :sad2:

Awesome post! I love your attitude. :thumbsup2 Good luck! :cheer2::cheer2::cheer2:

Great idea! While I don't think they should make rides so restrictive, I'm glad you found the silver lining in the cloud!

Great post. I am trying to get motivated for a lifestyle change too. Need to get in shape for my next WDW trip and short day trip to Universal.
