Waiving change fees?

If I decide to make a change to my reservation which includes changing my flights, can/will DW waive the airline change fee that would normally be associated with it?

Probably not, because Disney is making the airline reservations as a courtesy - in effect, to make your vacation purchase a "one-stop shop". While they may be able to negotiate special fares due to bulk, you would still be subject to the airline's change/cancellation fees if you, well, changed or cancelled your plans.

I was charged to change my flights on Delta. I booked through Disney but will never do it again, you can get better deals by buying airfare on your own and I would have save $200 on the change if I had booked it myself...

I did call about it, and I would be responsible for the change fee, which is $150/ticket -- that's United's fee to change a flight. There would have been no difference in fare, so that would be good.

I changed my vacation package and flights through Disney last month, and they did not charge a change fee. I booked my flights through Disney because after checking all of the other airlines, they were the least expensive. I would call Disney and ask them, as they did not charge a fee to change mine.

You were LUCKY! I booked our airline tickets through Disney also because at the time they were also the same price as online. I was not told they were nonrefundable airline tickets. We are going because my nephew is marching in the Disney parade. We had all of our reservations made including dining then the band has to up and change their trip due to the graduation exam being given during the time of their scheduled trip so therefore I had to call and change our reservations. It cost me $100 per plane ticket to change. The first time I called the tickets had not increased in price but when I called back they had so I was also going to have to pay the difference in the ticket price plus the $100 so I just backed our trip up a day. This really worked out to our advantage because we got the extra day free because we were not staying enough days for that plan.
