Waits with FP

From the FP FAQ, Post #2:
- It is rare for any FP wait at any normally-operating attraction to exceed 15-20 minutes. This includes the most popular or lowest capacity attractions such as Avatar Flight of Passage or Seven Dwarfs Mine Train. However, be aware that some attraction preshows (FOP, notably) can take 5 minutes or more, and for purposes of this thread FP wait is not figured into total attraction time (to include pre-show, boarding, and attraction time).

It really depends on a lot of factors. Super popular rides, could be 15-30 minutes (FoP comes to mind). Less popular rides are nearly walk on. If the ride had mechanical problems and was shut down for a while, the line can be much longer.

Disney tends to be very good indeed at keeping it to the 15-20 minutes max. Even when the FP line looks very long they keep it moving. Not like Universal where we have waited over 40 minutes for Despicable Me and Gringotts using Express on Thanksgiving weekend.

for what rides and what time of year you go, some 5 to 15 minutes some times like if you go new years eve the FP can be 30 -45+ minutes. just rember the FP line is just faster then the stand by line.

I'm not sure but the amount of fastpasses given out may have increased when they added the Disney Springs resorts to the mix. So, this could make it longer than a couple of years ago.

Longest I've waited (in 3 trips/year) has been the safari, which was close to 30 minutes a few times. I'd say on average no longer than 10 minutes for non headliners.
