Waits for buses from Coronado?

Hello all! I am looking at Coronado in February. Have there been any issues with waits for the buses? In particular for HS in the morning? Thank you!

When I was there earlier in December, no issues for me. I did leave the room (near Casitas bus stop) 90 minutes prior to Park open (MK and HS). A bus arrived typically around 75 minutes prior to Park open. I would caution if you’re in GDT...the HS busses I was on first thing in the morning were full so we didn’t stop at GDT, went straight to HS. I don’t know if they send any directly to the GDT stop or if the next one also stops at Casitas first (every time I rode a bus, this was the case, whether morning or afternoon always went to Casitas first).

Good to know! We would be staying in the tower. I guess we could always walk to one of the other stops and get on a HS bus there?
Also, what time did you find that they are letting people in at HS in the morning?

I would monitor how things are closer to your trip, but if the same, I would recommend walking over to the Casitas bus stop if it’s important to you to be in early at HS - though it would be a bit of a walk! (I had planned to Uber to Speedway those days, but the bus worked great for me all week).

I don’t remember what time they let us in to HS. We got off the bus and were held at the temp check for maybe 10-15 minutes? (We got there in good time on the bus, just before the first Skyliner arrivals). I think all Parks are letting in anywhere from 45-60 minutes early (or were).

This was a problem when I was a bus driver 6 years ago. It's sad to learn that they still haven't figured it out.
