I need 4 nights for a stay. The first 2 nights are unavailable, I have the 3rd and 4th night booked. Is it better to make each night needed its own waitlist or should I make 1 waitlist for both night? The reservation is for GF 1 bedroom Lake view. TIA

Definitely book back ups first then waitlist what you need separately (you can only have 2 waitlists). Then stalk. A few times a day.

Good luck,

Thanks suebeelin. Dping all of the above already. I know I am going to need some luck. I have to say though in the past I have been lucky with stalking and waitlisting

I've always had better luck "stalking" and / or calling Guest Services, but that was when you didn't have to wait over an hour on hold !

What I have done is put in a waitlist for nights 1 and 2 first...then for just night 2 on its own since it would connect to 3 and 4. I do not do night 1 on its own until I know I have secured night 2. Of course, then I stalk and stalk and adjust as needed!

Not really...but there are times when you are within 7 days of a trip that they recommend calling because they can sometimes see things not on the website....
