waitlisting 1 day in the middle of a vacation?

If I get the day I need through the waitlist, will the reservations be combined to 1 reservation? Meaning, will we be able to stay in the same room or is there a possibility that we may have to move?

Also, the day I need is July 4 (yes, you read that right, trying to get July 4 two months out. Don't ask. Long story). What are my chances? We really would prefer kadani or okw. But both resorts only have 3 days at the beginning if the week. Ssr has all days except the 4th.

To top this off, we have points in holding I can't use to book for a few more days. So its a waiting game.

When the waitlist comes through, just call MS and ask to have the reservations combined. Once that's done, it will appear to the resort that it is one continuous reservation. No moving and no new keys inbetween.

We need a one bedroom.if I waitlist at animal kingdom i would just do a standard since that would give me the best chance of getting it, I assume. The others would be saratoga and key west.

There are a lot more savanna view 1 bedrooms at AKV than there are standard view, though.

I would use my two waitlists for AKV savanna view (Kidani for the larger space & extra bath) and SSR for the best chance.

Just updating. My waitlist for July 4 came through, a week after I set it up. So we now have an undivided vacation at ssr. And I waitlisted a full week at both kadani and old key west. We have stayed at ssr so many times. I would prefer one of the other two. I realize the chance of either coming through is very slim but it doesn't hurt to try. we have about 3 weeks left on the waitlist.

Forgot to add that they combined the 3 reservations into one automatically when they confirmed the waitlist came through.
