WAITLIST

I know I have read alot about waitlisting in the past, but now that I am actually in the process of trying to waitlist, I have forgotten and can't find the info I need.
I thought I read somewhere you can only do two waitlists in 1 UY? Is that true?
So for example I want to waitlist for our August stay VWL and BWV.
Will that use up my two for the year?
Also I thought I had read not to waitlist the whole stay at once, because it will only come through if all the dates show up. So if I don't do all of the dates do I pick a couple and start there? But then am if I do say 2 days at time will I be able to do more than 4 days (2x2)?
I'm sure I will have more questions but these are the ones I have right now.

You can only have two active waitlists at any given time. That restriction is per membership.

We never waitlist but don't you have to select a room category for each waitlist?

At BWV you would need to waitlist boardwalk view and standard view separately and that would be your 2 waitlists.

If you wanted to waitlist individual days you'd only be able to waitlist 2 days because of the 2 waitlist limitation. Or 2 days at a time will be a total of 4 days you can waitlist at one time. If one fills then you can set up a new waitlist.

My experience in wait listing the Boardwalk is to wait list the pool/garden view since there are more of those views than the others. And to keep checking daily to see if a few of your days happen to open up. Good luck.
